this year has been rough for many reasons. coop needed back surgery. he had a ruptured disc with a hematoma on the spine. my poor baby was in pain. we took him several times to the vet but they kept telling us to restrict his movement and watch him. finally we couldnt wait anymore, he could no longer move his back legs. we took him into dove lewis on a sunday night and he had emergency surgery that night.
a few days later we were able to pick him up. he was in great spirits wagging his tail and trying to get up. thankfully my boss is understanding and allowed me to work from home for the first few days of coops recuperation.
he had a nasty incision and shave job.
it didn't take him long to get back on his feet. i was in tears the first time i saw him walk. it was the happiest day of my life. this little 10 pounder means so much to jason and i we would do anything for him.
