VALENTINES DAY

for valentines days  we stayed low key because jason has a nice romantic weekend planned.i hand made him a valentines card, got krispie kreme doughnuts, and a gift card for a massage. and then i made him some mini heart shaped pizzas with heart shaped pepperoni for dinner.

...

but i was feeling the love earlier in the day at work. my honey dropped by to give me some candy and i    got valentines from my coworkers mandee and carrie and cookies from my mom.

and then we had a vday potluck with chocolate covered bacon, chocolate dipped marshmallows  pink lemonade sugar cookies, heart shaped fruit, powdered doughnut holes, red velvet cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, wine, and cucumber water.

2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

the traditional gift for a 2 year wedding anniversary is cotton. so i tried to come up with something clever to get jason (last year i got him a custom steamy novel). i knew he wouldn't really care about cotton things like a robe or clothes (and i get enough tshirts for him from work). so i cheated and bought cotton flowers and cotton paper and named a star after him.

and jason being the fabulous husband he is bought me a beautiful marc by marc jacobs watch and engraved the back with "2 years", "j", and "t." (a little back story for our wedding i got jason a watch and engraved the date (2.12.11) and "j" and "t".)

...

last year's present (traditional 1st anniversary gift is paper).

DIY : STUDDED SHOES

there are two ways you could make some studded shoes. one way it to glue the studs on the other would be to put the studs through the fabric. i found that pushing the studs through was going to be challenging and take a lot longer to so i went the easy was and glued them on. you can also use hot glue which it faster. i'm going to test out my shoes and if the studs fall off to easily then ill spend the time and punch them through.

DIY STUDDED SHOES PART 1

 1. place the stud, push down so that it makes marks in the shoe.
2. use the hole make/poker thing to make holes where the marks from the stud are.
3. push the stud through. use the pliers to secure the studs.
4. repeat until happy.
