ASHLEY'S BIRTHDAY

a few weekends ago we celebrated my sister inlaw's 23 birthday and the last weekend before dave moved to seattle.

we started out going to bounty hunter to get some food and play ping pong.

90s NIGHT AT LOLA'S ROOM

we finished off the evening with 90s dancing. i love 90s, its my childhood.

BIG AL'S

sunday we got up and went bowling and ate some pizza before dave and hannah left and ash went to work.

WASHINGTON PARK: WUNDERLUST CIRCUS

after work jason and i grab some food and headed to washington park and the rose garden to see the wunderlust circus. it was apart of a series of free concerts in august.

jimmy johns...mmmmmmmmm.

this was about 45 minutes before the show but it filled up fast.

we left early but these girls were the best in the show. they could've condensed the show to 45 but instead it was a lenghty 2 hours.

5K RUN FOR THE FALLEN TROOPS

continuing mck and my 5k a month, in august we did the 5k run/walk for the fallen soldiers. it was really sad and inspiring at the same time. so many amazing people have been lost. it felt great to be there for such an amazing cause.

ICE SKATING

lic and i did it back in december we had so much fun that my sis and cousin bought groupon thingys to go again. the last date to use the deal came upon us quickly and our schedules weren't allowing us much time to use them. finally we were able to go a friday night. we had fun but i think everyone went home sore.

these shoes suck. this is no support. i enjoyed the roller blades from the 80's look ice skates we used at the winterhawks practice facility.

i just got a slow shutter app on my phone and had to play with it. 

NEW KITTY

a black kitty adopted us and i encouraged it by feeding her. she doesn't have a collar so i don't know if she has a home or gets food somewhere else. she likes to sleep on our bench because we have a cushion on it. she's very sweet but also not shy when she wants food. i just call her kitty. cooper and her have faced off and she swatted at him so now they mostly leave each other alone.
